The First Step to Healing

All of us have dealt with the effects of childhood traumas in one form or another. Some people refer to them as “generational curses”. Regardless of the title you attach to it the results are the same, dysfunctional adults.

The very first step to healing, overcoming and taking authority of your life is honesty. You must see and admit your faults. It is imperative that you are honest with yourself.

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” 1 John 1:9.

You must see your giant in order to conquer it. This may seem like the easiest step, but accepting the fact that you are imperfect and guilty of imperfection goes against one of the biggest “life” giants and toughest demon you will face… EGO/PRIDE.

This demon pops up all through life and in every part of life. Honesty is the destroyer of ego and confession is the weapon. You and your loved ones are paying the cost of your EGO/PRIDE. You are the one who lives in misery, guilt, shame and defeat. Your loved ones are hurting to see you hurt.

It doesn’t matter how long you have dealt with this pain, there is help! I’m serious. There is help and you can come out of that mind. Give yourself to God and let him clean you. There are steps we have to take and work we have to do, but if you want help. It is here.

Stop telling yourself that you are the worst case scenario. You are not. You can not only be healed, but you can be made whole.

I love you enough to share my personal journey to help you overcome.

There is victory for you.
